On the Mountain

Maria has class this morning and afterwards we are going up to a place Monserrate. It is like an overlook which has a cathedral on it. They have mass and a priest lives on site. From there you can see the entire city of Bogota. It is really pretty. I will try to get some pictures up. Maria was suppose to get her shots yesterday but, the doctor was sick. Ms. Nora was here this afternoon and she said that our case just went to the judge. We now have to pray that they sign off on it quickly (they have up to 10 working days). After the jusge signs off on it then it has to go back to the guy (Pro Curador) who has to sign off on it AGAIN (he has 3 days to do so). Once he signs off on it we will have Sentencia. I will then fly to Valledupar in the morning, sign and fly back. They said that the judge may or may not want to see the children. If he does then they will have to fly back with me. After Sentencia then our attorney has to drive to the city where the children were born and get new birth certificates in the Canuel name. She will then overnight them to me here in Bogota. Then we start the Embassy process. After dinner we all came back to the room and watched TV. Steve and I made some arrangements - my mom is going to come out on Saturday and stay for eight days. That will help pass some of the time.
Guess that is it for now. Steve leaves in the morning to go back to the states. I will miss him and I am sure the children will, too. Until tomorrow. W
